What this website collects, and what happens to it.

This policy covers this website and requests sent through it. If you become a client, the tax and financial information you give us for that work is handled under your written engagement agreement and the federal rules that apply to tax and financial service providers, and you receive the privacy notice those rules require at that time.
When you use the pricing estimator and request a proposal, we receive the services you selected, your answers to the assessment questions, the estimate you were shown, and the contact details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, business name if you give one, and state.
Please do not send tax returns, Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or other sensitive documents through this website. It is not built to receive them. If we work together, we will give you a secure way to share documents.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you arrive from a link that carries campaign tags, the page remembers them for that browser session so that a proposal request can show us how you found us. This is stored in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab.
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors move through the pricing estimator, and whether a proposal request was sent. Google sets first-party cookies to tell one visit from another and receives your IP address, which it does not store in Analytics. We do not send your name, email, phone number or your answers to Google. This website does not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you. The price range the estimator shows is calculated in your browser from your answers.
These providers act on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [CONTACT EMAIL]. We will respond within 45 days. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.
This website honors the Global Privacy Control signal and browser "Do Not Track" settings: if your browser sends either one, Google Analytics and Tag Manager are not loaded for you at all. You can also block Analytics in any browser with Google's opt-out add-on.
We keep a proposal request for as long as we need it to respond to you. If you become a client it becomes part of your client records. If you do not, you can ask us to delete it.
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and requests are sent to us by encrypted email delivery. No website can promise perfect security, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive documents here.
This website is for adults seeking tax and financial services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
